This chopper from Zyliss will make quick work of most small and medium chopping tasks, and, thanks to the unique comfort top, it won’t bruise hands if lots of chopping is being done. The chopper stands 10-1/2 inches tall, with a 3-1/2-inch base, and is constructed of sturdy plastic and stainless steel, with a stainless-steel chopping blade. It’s easy to use–just place the food in the base container and position the chopper snugly in the base. Then tap the top a few times until food is the desired size. The rustproof, stainless-steel blade rotates automatically after each tap. Since the chopping is contained in the base, the amount of mess is minimal. Also, the 1-cup base container comes with a lid for easy storing of chopped food. For simple cleanup, the sides of the chopper are hinged and the whole thing can go into the dishwasher.
