You have not had apple pie until you’ve tried apple crumb pie! This is one of my favorite dessert recipes handed down from my family. We serve the pie with a nice healthy chunk of aged sharp cheese and a large scoop of vanilla ice cream. I did some research and found that serving the pie with sharp cheese originates from Yorkshire, England. The famous saying goes: “Apple pie without cheese is like a kiss without a squeeze.”
